MY NAME IS GUSTAV WÄRN.

I am a 23 year old writer/director based in Stockholm, Sweden.

I have been working with film since the age of 16, and have since then explored many territories within this abstract artform. I am experienced within all fields necessary to complete a full production, and therefore consider myself to be something of a Swiss army knife.

I started Unexpected Virtue in 2019, and have since then produced over 100 + films, both in house and for different clients. My aim is to expand upon our idea of the film medium, to push the boundaries of what a film can be.

I believe in the power of art - and that film is the medium best suited to fully captivate an audience in an immersive experience, whether it is through commercial or narrative film.

I truly believe that a film - if it is the right one at the right time - has the potential to change the world.
